Throughout 2007, Swallows issued out the raw tracks from Cloud Machines to independent remixers and programmers. This digital EP is a sneak peak at the upcoming Swallows remix collection, Loud Machines, featuring more from Y-TRON, Radio Sloan (featuring Team Gina), Raised by Television, Sea Otter, Pallaton, The Artificial Sea and a couple of surprises from Swallows! Loud Machines will be shared as a digital album through our website as well as a limited edition CD version for you to have and to hold.
About Y-TRON:
Y-TRON (also known as Bryan Cecil, age 27) is an Alaska-grown electronic multi-media artist who has also lived in Oregon, Arizona, Nevada, California, Washington and Utah. Y-TRON brings a fun, DIY aesthetic to a genre over-run by decadence and "artsy" aloofism. Fusing the attitude of 70s punk, 80s electro and booty bass (as well as modern pop-hop, or crunk), Y-TRON has created a dance worthy sound that anyone can enjoy in an alternate universe. Look for projects in other genres on the horizon.
